The History of SBFP

Vol. I

Or, A Brief History of members of the SasugaPops Product Temporal Delivery Division

The Spacemen have been around for approximately 70 years. The first SasugaPops hit the market back in 1933, probably under the assumption that people living during the depression would want frozen treats. They were incorrect, sadly. The popsicles only were around for a month or so before the product was withdrawn. Surprisingly, 30 years later, SasugaPops once more appeared in distributors warehouses, as apparently negotiated in a pre-signed contract.

The Mystery of SasugaPops

The mystery of SasugaPops has never been fully explored, though questions regarding the existence of the company have had very few answers for 75 years.

  1. Where did the SasugaPops come from?

  2. No distributor was ever able to name a source.

  3. Where was the factory?

  4. For being such a mass produced product, (Distributing 95,000 popsicles daily across the globe), it would require a mass factory, but no location is known.

  5. Who made them?

  6. There has never been a company registered under the name "SasugaPops". The FDA debated stopping distribution of the popsicles, but the increased demand for them after the decision convinced them that SasugaPops were truly a key part of the economy. At least for Popsicle Distributors.

Sightings

The following picture was taken June 14th, 1968, according to a creditable source. Although the image was originally dismissed as a hoax, extraterrestrial believers have long used it as evidence to support their theory, their point being that, while the image was believed to be a hoax, it was never proven.

Now, almost 40 years later, the truth behind this image has finally been revealed. Below is an image of a SasugaPops delivery ship, caught on modern technology, Sept. 3rd, 2004. When comparing the image below to the one above, many things become apparent.

The piece that appeared to be sticking up out of the top of the craft was believed, in 1933, to be a control room of some sort. In the image below, it is apparent that it is an engine, sticking off of the side of the craft. We were told by a source that the cause of the engine's separation from the body of the ship was merely that of practicality.

When both engines were attached directly to the hull, the interior resonated unreasonably, and the craft was extremely noisy. The independently-maneuverable engines also allow the ship more maneuverability, causing the ship's design to be more efficient overall, along with more versatile, as it can land both on a runway, or on a helipad.

While the image below is not the exact ship piloted by the famed Spacemen, it was supposedly made the following year, in 2,047.  Note that the below image has been flipped horizontally to better show the similarity between the ships.
